lounge decoration ideas
i want to decorate the lounge area in an interesting way. this space is going to ultimately have a book/video library, a tv/dvd/tivo, and a fridge and microwave and all that fun stuff. oh, and seating, of course. i'm thinking of covering the walls with the cheesiest band posters i can find. you know, like those old maiden posters and shit. what do y'all think?
i've been having this idea for a while now, but it was further reinforced today when we were tearing down some old shelving in the garage and came across this:

Hee. I was going to post a comment saying "Hey, if you can't get enough cheesy posters, we can always print out stuff from the Hall of Douchebags site." And now I see you already linked to it. Disturbed minds think alike. (Or at least, minds that have inhaled too much concrete dust think alike.)

i've pondered that, but i'm kind of torn. the promo shots at the hall of douchebags are a hoot, but most of those bands are completely unknown (well, except for those fucking wusses in blue october. i so wanna kick their asses. "hate me?" you bet your fucking guyliner ass i do). i thought it would be fun to stick with the more well-known cheese like maiden, krokus, poison, tiffany, mc hammer, kenny g, milli vanilli...but i'm open to other suggestions.
